What is Monti?

Monti makes breastfeeding clothing that’s designed to look like your actual wardrobe, not maternity aisle basics or mumsy dresses. Built with fuss free and discreet nursing access, styled by someone who’s spent 20 years designing clothes for a living.

What’s the deal with pre-order?

We’re doing things a little differently for our first run. Rather than guessing what to make and hoping it sells, we’re taking pre-orders first so we know exactly what to produce, which means less overstock, less waste.

By placing a pre-order, you’re not just buying clothes, you’re one of the first people backing a brand that’s trying to do nursing clothes properly.

When will my order arrive?

We'll post your order on or before 1st December. Which happily, means your monti pieces will land in plenty of time for christmas, whether it's for yourself, or as a gift. We'll keep you updated by email as production moves along, so you'll always know where things stand.

Is there any risk to ordering now?

Very little. This isn’t a deposit or a “maybe it happens” crowdfund situation. You pay the full price upfront and your order goes into production. If anything changes on our end, you’ll be the first to know, and you'll be refunded in full, no questions asked.

What sizes do you offer?

8-22 UK

Size inclusivity was a non-negotiable from day one. Postpartum bodies come in every shape, and the clothes should too, so we are producing the widest range of sizes possible and will make more sizes if it’s requested for future runs.

How does the nursing access work?

Every Monti piece is built with practical, no-fuss nursing access. Designed to actually work, in real life. Using overlapping panels, which are easily moved with only one hand. Every style has been tried and tested and thoughtfully made using real life experience.

What are the products made from?

They're made from viscose (also known as rayon), a fibre made from wood pulp. It's soft, breathable and drapes beautifully. Some pieces include 5% elastane for extra stretch and bounce-back, so they won't sag as the day goes on. We've painstakingly selected every fabric to make sure it feels good, not only against your skin, but against your baby's too.

Where are the clothes made?

Monti is made in Turkey, by a factory our founder Lauren has worked with throughout her 20-year career as a fashion designer. It's a partnership built on years of trust, and on quality she's seen first-hand.

Can I wear Monti if I’m not breastfeeding?

Yes, that is such an important point. These are designed to be clothes you’d want to wear anyway. The nursing access is just built in for when you need it, not the whole design brief.
